Oh.My.Goodness!!! I have MAJOR apricot envy right now!!! I wonder apricots can grow in the Adirondack Mountains...? And I wonder if my landlord would let me plant a few trees...? Oh how I wish for all of that yummy apricot goodness right now!

wow........takes me back to when my dad made this amazing pear preserves...we always poured it over our waffles and on biscuits. SO good. good memories *sigh*

Such beautiful shots and YUMMY!! Tu for the sweet comment - I always love finding new enjoyable blogs and I've added you to my faves :)...I'm one of 7 - the eldest female - LOVE being a part of a big family...but now that I'm a mom myself I have even MORE respect for moms and dads...WOW! You're amazing! And my Mom always got/gets that too - people would look her up and down after she said she had 7 kids :)

So self sufficient of you! I am jealous. For me to can, I'd have to go out and buy the fruit - and there is no savings there. We did try to pick our own strawberries this year, but pickins was slim...

Did you really do 136 pints? And I thought I was doing a lot. What did you make, just syrup or a combination? Are they all from your own trees? Don't you feel like a good ant storing up for the winter? I sure do. Full bottles are soooo satisfying.
