Yes, yes, we are still alive in the inkstitch house! I never meant to be gone so long. I did get a lovely new computer, but along with it came a job... oh, a job! Well, not so much A Job, as, Taking in Work. But a lot of work. Much. Of course, I had a job all along. As much as I would have loved to be spending my time crafting and sewing and quilting, it has always been done in stolen moments. Having seven children and taking on occasional freelance work can take a toll on the crafter's calendar. But now, I am sunk. Sucked in. Swamped.
Etcetera.
Working from home, yes. It sounds so simple, so domestic and forward thinking at once. So harmonious. (Insert wild, maniacal laughter.) Nope. It's merely insane. Have I mentioned the number seven in here anywhere?
But! I peeked in tonight. One little glimpse through the windows. I haven't spent time looking in sooo long, but I came looking for this, and quite happily I saw this. And this. And this ! ! And I just love this! And gosh, just all of this. Unfortunately, I had no time for this.
It is enough to inspire a girl... or at the very least make her long for things...

I must admit, I have been longing for some time for this.
Nevertheless, all is well in the inkstitch house, and while I can't possibly be around a LOT, and I am really excited to be back to doing this.
